What is Staking Rewards?
Staking rewards is a SocialGood program that allows users to receive up to 15% APY for SocialGood stored in their SocialGood App and/or external wallet like MetaMask. Membership levels are determined by the amount of SocialGood held and the cumulative total of all purchases completed through SocialGood for the past 2 months.
How is my Staking Reward Level Determined?
There are 5 membership levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.
Your membership level is determined by the following criteria and is recalculated every 6 hours. Your current level will be displayed within the app and you will earn staking rewards accordingly. You can receive compound interest as your staking rewards will be calculated based on both the initial SG and the accumulated staking rewards from previous periods. In addition, approved SG inside of the SocialGood App is calculated in the total staked SG at an increase of 3%.
Diamond Level (15% APY)
Total Staked SG is at least 5,000SG

Total amount purchased in stores in the past 2 months is US$100,000 and up
OR
Total amount purchased in stores in the past 2 months is US$100,000 and up
Platinum Level (10% APY)
Total Staked SG is over 200SG
OR
Total amount purchased in stores in the past 2 months is over US$2,000

Gold Level (7% APY)
Total Staked SG is over 50SG and total amount purchased in stores in the past 2 months are over US$0.01

Silver Level (4% APY)
Total Staked SG is over 50SG

How to Start Earning Staking Rewards
In order to begin staking, you will need to either earn SocialGood through shopping in the SocialGood App, or buy SocialGood on an exchange (Bittrex, Bitmart, Uniswap, or P2PB2B) and connect a MetaMask wallet (https://metamask.io/) with deposited SocialGood to the SocialGood App.
Follow These 5 Steps To Start Staking
Download MetaMask from the Google Play Store or the App Store. (If you are storing your SG somewhere else like a Trust Wallet or Coinbase Wallet make sure you have made a note of your recovery phrase in advance. *Never share this phrase with anyone)
After installing MetaMask, follow the instructions in the app and create your wallet. (If you have a recovery phrase, select “Import Using Secret Recover Phrase” so that you can also use your wallet inside of MetaMask)
Send the SocialGood you bought on an exchange to the wallet you made in MetaMask
Open the SocialGood App. Go to Assets Screen -> Staking Rewards -> Connect My Wallet -> and open MetaMask. MetaMask is the only external wallet that is currently supported.
Follow the instructions to connect MetaMask to the SocialGood App.
